About Lesson

WordPress provides an easy and convenient way to add media to your website, including images, videos, and audio files. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Access the WordPress Media Library: From your WordPress dashboard, go to “Media” -> “Library”. This will take you to the Media Library page.

  2. Add new media: To add new media, click on the “Add New” button at the top of the page. This will open the media uploader.

  3. Upload media: In the media uploader, you can drag-and-drop files from your computer or select them manually by clicking on the “Select Files” button. Once the file is uploaded, you can add a title, caption, and description to the media file.

  4. Insert media into your content: Once the media is uploaded, you can insert it into your content. To do this, navigate to the post or page where you want to add the media, and click on the “Add Media” button above the content editor. This will open the media uploader, where you can select the media file you want to insert.

  5. Configure media settings: After you have inserted the media into your content, you can configure the media settings, such as alignment, size, and link options. This can be done by clicking on the media in the content editor and using the settings available in the media toolbar.

  6. Save and publish your content: Once you have added and configured the media in your content, click on the “Save” or “Publish” button to make the changes live on your website.

In summary, adding media to WordPress involves accessing the Media Library, uploading new media, inserting media into your content, configuring media settings, and saving and publishing your content. Adding media to your website can enhance the visual appeal and engagement of your content and help you communicate your message more effectively to your audience.
